Marnye Hall is an award-winning brand strategist and senior-level creative director with experience leading teams of creative directors, writer/producers and designers.
She currently leads the creative and brand messaging for Court TV, Scripps News and local media. She led the development and launch of the Scripps News Group that unified 40 local stations and Scripps News under one content brand. Her work also led Court TV’s “Interview with a Killer” to be the network’s most watched original series for three seasons, growing the audience year-over-year.
In her role, she leads Scripps News Group’s centralized team of art directors and graphic designers. Under her leadership the team developed and deployed a unifying graphics package, strengthening brand identity.
Previous to her time at Scripps, Marnye led the global brand work for CNN International and CNN en Español. In this role, she managed the marketing for network priorities, key talent and high-profile sponsorships. Marnye also managed the promotion for CNN prime time, live events and in-house created documentaries.
Her prior experience includes the launch of HLN’s true crime series, “Vengeance.” She also wrote and produced the campaign for the limited series” Sex & Love Around the World” hosted by Christiane Amanpour.
Marnye loves ideation, collaboration and leading teams to make impactful creative under tight deadlines.
